Smoky Bear Campground, Gatlinburg, TN
November 23 - 27, 2021 Thanksgiving is when we always go away. Anywhere is fine with me. This year would be our first rv trip. We chose Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We went there two years ago and enjoyed it. This year would be a different experience as we were masked and under quarantine. I think a camper has allowed us to be a little more free but still be very cautious. This is a great campground. They helped us park the camper as we were really new at this. We were right next to the bathrooms. There was a pool and laundry room. We were directly across the road from hiking. We tried twice to go into Gatlinburg, but it was so packed, we were not comfortable being around that many people. Our Thanksgiving dinner was at our picnic table, and it was wonderful.
