October 15 - 17, 2021 🍂Little Boo Weekend!  What a great time.  We arrived Friday with the littles after picking the oldest up early from school.  We arrived, and it was a downpour.  Our golf cart we had rented was waiting for us. They got their bathing suits on and played in the puddles, and then we headed to the pool.  It was hot and enjoyable.  Saturday morning we woke up, ate pancakes and met the day.  It was cooler this morning so we hung out, decorated the campsite for Trick or Treating, and went for a golf cart ride.  The littles went fishing with Granddad, and I cleaned up.  We went and got a craft and brought it back and ate lunch.  The campground had activities planned all day, but we just kinda chilled.  They wanted to swim again, but the wind was so cold, we couldn't do it.  That night, they dressed and off they went.  It was such a great time, and they enjoyed themselves.  We wanted to stay another...

Poverty Point, Delhi, LA (Visiting Again)

September 24 - 26 One of our favorite places to camp.  We were here in January and just had to return.  We got the same exact spot as last time, and it was great.  Gorgeous weather - sunny and cool at night.  Again, we didn’t see any bears, but oh well.  We ate at Thomson’s Drugstore in Delhi on Friday afternoon. They make chocolate sodas, but it was just ok. Great camp host and the sites are well- spaced. The bathroom was spotless with the laundry room being open. There is a playground and splash pad for the kids.  Saturday we just hung around and ate out at the local golf course at Champion’s Bistro.  They make the best nacho plate I’ve ever eaten. I had it in January and had to try it again.  Just as good as before.  We left Sunday and had a pleasant drive home.  No one, and I mean no one wears a mask in north Louisiana.  Such a shame. Beautiful country, though.
